The Nigerian music sensation Rema has won the heart of American singer Selena Gomez, who claims that he has permanently altered her life.
On the remix of Calm Down, Gomez was a featured artist last year. The song they made together has been dominating charts all around the world till this day.
Gomez expressed her gratitude to Rema for included her in one of the top songs in the world on her verified Instagram account.
The singer included two photos of herself with Rema and said, “This man has changed my life forever,” as the description for the post. Rema, I appreciate you picking me to be a part of one of the most popular songs ever. Love you always. @heisrema.”
The comment was made by the 23-year-old Rema in response to the post, and Gomez professed his love for her by writing, “Love you too Queen.”
Divine Ikubor, better known as Rema, is a multi-award-winning singer, songwriter, and rapper. She was born on May 1, 2000.
The act became well-known when Dumebi, a single, was released in 2019. He entered into a recording contract with a Mavin Records affiliate. His biggest worldwide success came with the popular song “Calm Down” in 2022, which he co-wrote with Selena Gomez. The song achieved a record-setting 41 weeks as the number one afro beats song in the United States and peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.
