When Burna Boy performed in the Netherlands, his family gave him a birthday surprise.
The ‘Ye’ hitmaker had his ‘Love, Damini’ performance at the 41,000-seat Gelredome Arnhem Stadium rescheduled for July 2 in honor of his 32nd birthday.
The artist was performing some of his hit songs to the appreciative crowd when his mother and band entered the stage to wish him a happy birthday.
Burna Boy’s family members gave him a cake and a pair of balloons, and he could not contain his joy.
Burna Boy eventually left the stage while still wearing a blue sleeveless shirt and white slacks to present the audience with his dessert.
Burna Boy responded in an Instagram post, noting that the surprise had transpired as he had desired.
“I’m doing what I love at midnight on the second, headlining a festival in front of 45,000 incredible people. “There is no other way I would have it,” he wrote.
