The sensational musician Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, better known by his stage name Spyro, has declared that famous people have a need to “live a decent life” for their followers.
He claimed that Sound Sultan, his late mentor, showed him that it is possible to lead a respectable life while becoming a superstar.
This was said by the “Who Is Your Guy” singer when she was a guest on the most recent edition of The Honest Bunch podcast, which is co-hosted by actor Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, also known as Nedu.
“I saw Sound Sultan; he doesn’t drink or smoke,” he declared. You will not see him chasing ladies, not even at the club where we attend.
“We have a duty to lead respectable lives for the audience. When I initially met Sound Sultan, he seated me at his dining table and informed me, “Many politicians approach me because they understand that if I back them, everyone else will follow suit.”
Politicians, according to him, would bring a lot of cash. Dem go say merely support, put Ghana-must-go down. But then he said to me, “What are you going to plan for his kids if he accepts?” But he’s truly disappeared now.
It’s as though we own our life. One day, you will have to part from your children.
