Don Jazzy, a well-known musician and music industry entrepreneur, has said that he is sorry for his incident with Olamide at the 2015 Headies Awards.
Reekado Banks, a signee of Don Jazzy, was declared the winner of the highly coveted Next Rated category at the 2015 Headies Awards ceremony. Olamide challenged the announcement, claiming that his YBNL protégé, Lil Kesh, deserved it more. This led to some minor commotion at the event.
Don Jazzy said that his behavior at the 2015 Headies Awards was out of character on a recent episode of the podcast Doyin’s Corner, which is hosted by former Big Brother Naija housemate Doyin.
“There was the Headies incident,” he remarked, referring to my altercation with Olamide. Additionally, out of character, that one As soon as I exited the stage, I instantly regretted doing it.
He said that he had previously expressed regret to Olamide and the organizers.
