Nasir El-Rufai, the governor of Kaduna state, would have a significant position in President Bola Tinubu’s government, according to former governor of Ebonyi State Dave Umahi.
This was said by Umahi during a Saturday interview with Arise Television.
Due to the fact that they contributed to Tinubu’s election as president, the former governor claimed that he and El-Rufai can’t let him go.
Despite his recent anti-Christian remarks, El-Rufai will continue to play a significant position in Tinubu’s administration, according to Umahi.
The senator-elect emphasized that the president will not disassociate himself from those who contributed to his electoral win.
So be assured, Mr. President, we who fought really hard for you are not going to leave out individuals like El-Rufai and the rest of us, he remarked.
“His track record is clear. He never betrays anyone. So rest confident that my dear buddy El-Rufai will play a significant role.
“I’m not speaking for Mr. President, but I’m speaking bearing in mind the character of him I know too well,” he remarked.
