Jada Pinkett Smith recently discussed her relationship with the late rapper Tupac Shakur in an interview with RollingOut. She believed that Tupac was her ‘soulmate’, but they never hooked up due to a lack of physical chemistry. Jada clarified that they shared a close friendship and love, but their relationship never turned physical. Jada, who recently revealed that she has been secretly separated from her husband Will Smith for the past seven years, opened up about her relationship with Tupac while promoting her upcoming memoir.

She also suggested that they had traveled together in past lifetimes. Jada replied that they couldn’t take the friendship in a romantic direction because there was no chemistry between them.

During an interview with editor Christal Jordan, Jada was asked about Tupac referring to her as a ‘soulmate’. Jordan inquired whether Jada believed it was possible to have a soulmate without a romantic connection.

Jada responded by saying that it was indeed possible to have soulmates who aren’t romantic partners, such as one’s children. She also mentioned that the idea of soulmates can take on different meanings and interpretations.

‘If there is such a thing as past lives, I definitely think Pac and I have traveled a few together, you know, in various forms,’ she said.
