Singer John Ighodaro, also known as Johnny Drille, has made it clear that his alleged love relationship with rising actress Tomi Ojo is incorrect and only platonic.
According to The Nation, a video of Johnny Drille and Ojo that appeared to show them having a love relationship went viral.
Fans suspected they were dating seriously because she appeared as his girlfriend in the music video “Believe Me.”
The musician from Edo refuted this in a recent interview with Hip TV and said that they are “just friends.”
Following the revelation of his covert marriage to Rima Tahini, director of A&R at Mavin Records, Johnny Drille issued the explanation.
First of all, he explained, “If you viewed the ‘Believe Me’ music video, you would know that there are two Ojos in the song: Tomi Ojo and Wale Ojo.
Although it was something of a pun, it appeared to go nicely together. But Tomi Ojo is a fantastic guy in terms of relationships. She is an excellent colleague. She is fantastic in the song video. That is all I have to say. All I have to say is that.
