Kenya VP applied for own trademark.

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has officially applied to own the trademark for his moniker “Riggy G”.

And the Kenya Industrial Property Institute (Kipi) has accepted his application made in November last year.

According to the Trademark Act, a person who falsely uses a trademark will be fined a sum of Ksh200,000 or serve a 5-year jail term or both.
