Actor Temisan Emmanuel Ahwieh, often known as Taymesan, from Nollywood, has spoken about the horrible bullying he endured as a child. The actor claimed that because of the trolling, his self-esteem was “on the floor.”
However, he claimed that the harassment inspired him to work tirelessly on being the person he is today.
On the most recent episode of The Nancy Isime Show, Taymesan made an appearance alongside well-known influencer Enioluwa.
One of the things I have done over the years is put a lot of effort into improving myself, he remarked. I don’t believe I’ve ever said this publicly, but I was frequently teased when I was younger. My self-confidence was completely destroyed as a result of the trolling.
So, I was one of the most talented students at my Warri school when I entered UNILAG. And when I came to school, I had no idea why they were making fun of me. I aspired to be everyone’s guy and the popular jock. But it didn’t go like that. I was solely working on my schoolwork and attending church.
But, you know, the fact that such things occur is one of the things I’m most appreciative of. I was motivated to accomplish more as a result. On a scale of 100, I would have achieved 200. My case was too strong. But my pivotal moment was… I can’t even lie about how UNILAG changed me. And I’m speaking it publicly for the first time here.
