The applications of Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, a candidate for the Labour Party (LP), and Olajide Adeniran, also known as Jandor, a candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the March 18 election have both been rejected by the Lagos State Governorship Election Tribunal.
Rhodes-Vivour and Adeniran successfully contested Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s election victory in court after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) proclaimed him the winner.
Justice Arum Ashom said in his ruling late on Monday that the petitions lacked merit.
