Meta Platforms Inc., Mark Zuckerberg’s social media firm, has launched a new feature to WhatsApp that allows users to modify messages received within a 15-minute time restriction.
The corporation announced this in a blog post to warn its customers, and Zuckerberg confirmed it on Facebook on Monday.
“You may now modify your sent messages on WhatsApp if you make a mistake or simply change your mind,” Meta explained.
“We’re eager to give you greater control over your conversations, such as fixing misspellings or adding additional context to a message.”

“To do this, you must press and hold the message for a few seconds after sending it, then pick the ‘Edit’ option from the menu.”
According to Meta, the functionality is already being sent out to users and will be available to everyone in a few weeks.
