Wizkid, a Grammy-winning singer from Nigeria, is the first African artist to receive the BRIT Billion Award for having had more than one billion streams in the United Kingdom.

In the UK, Wizkid has sold millions of albums, including Kyla and him (Wizkid) on Drake’s “One Dance,” which has achieved six times Platinum certification for sales of over 3.6 copies.
‘Energy’ with Skepta and ‘Essence’ with Tems are certified Platinum, whereas ‘Come Closer’ with Drake and ‘Brown Skin Girl’ with Beyoncé are only certified Gold.
The UK has awarded Gold certification to “Made In Lagos,” Wizkid’s fourth studio album.
